Our Approach
Altius Capital runs a relative-extremes strategy: we take positions — long or short — when price or volatility reaches a relative extreme and markets overshoot, and wait patiently when they don't. We enter with a deliberate cushion — a margin of safety that sets our entry far enough from the market that it would have to move dramatically against us before we lose money.
We obsess over not losing money first; returns follow from disciplined risk control.
